“Beast” is a pairing of the wild and the cultured, the bear fur and the truck tire. Each remnant is rescued from a traumatic event, the Delta Fire that raged in northern California. I have healed the two by mending their gap, using copper leaf. My hope is to create a better, stronger creature, one which can endure.
